She has worked as Standing Counsel for South Central Railways, as Panel Advocate in Legal Aid Clinic, RDO Tribunal. Guntur, as Notary Public and as Director, The Guntur Advocates Mutually Aided Co-operative Society Ltd. Guntur, AP. She has also held the post f Women Secretary and Executive Committee, Guntur Bar Association. She has been a sportswoman, has been awarded Best Guide Award from the President of India in 1985. She has played Basket Ball at the National level and has been Joint Secretary and Sports Secretary for Ladies Club, Guntur.
